There's something about difference that makes you either excited or annoyed you didn't think about it first. Those were the range of emotions this wedding spurred.
Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche's first daughter Barr. Deborah Paul-Enenche, now Deborah Hawthorn got married last month. Congratulations to them! Although it was a lavish event graced by prominent figures both Nigerian and international, that isn't what caught the attention of many. Two things stood out.
The first was their pre-wedding concert, held the night before the big day. While it's tradition to host bridal showers and bachelor parties, the couple hosted a worship concert event at the parking lot of their church in Dunamis Abuja. An interesting way, many thought, to kick-start the wedding weekend.
Fast-forward to the main event. Another thing that stood out and sparked quite a controversy was her bouquet. Instead of the traditional bouquet of flowers, Deborah carried a delicate white bible.
She shared her reason for this decision in a caption,
"The Blushing Bride 🥹👰🏿.
I can't express how much a fairytale yesterday was 😭
I looked like the princess I am and got to marry my prince ☺️
Thank you, Abba
@sam_hawthorn I love you so much. You've redefined love for me. I'm grateful to be experiencing life with you forever.
Thanks to @hudayya for this unbelievable and regal wedding statement dress and @makeup_360 for making me look like a Disney character 😁.
PS:- I love that I got to hold a bible instead of a bouquet ☺️. What a foundation to start a marriage 😁"
