Jonathan Mcreynolds and Mali Music take home Best Gospel Performance/Song Award (Grammys 2021)

Presented by the Recording Academy since 1958, the GRAMMYs are a celebration of excellence. The music community's highest honour, and its only peer-based award. The rich history of Music's Biggest Night happened yesterday as the world's leading society of music professionals gathered, the Recording Academy is dedicated to celebrating, honouring, and sustaining music's past and present.

Congratulations go out to Jonathan McReynolds and Mali Music on their grammy award. They joined forces on their single "Movin On" in April 2020 and that move has certainly paid off as they have both become official Grammy Award Winners for the first time in their careers. The song was recorded in a Airbnb and a hotel room during the pandemic and has since become a soundtrack on getting free, moving on and getting over. “Movin’ On” is lifted from McReynold’s upcoming album, People

To @rcainspiration & @eone_music / @eonenashville , thank you for insisting this play!; though I didn’t understand, I went. & you guys do know the way to where we’re going .

To my family, friends , & fans - you all Keep coming thru for me and I am so grateful to you all for appearing when I need an audience . To @robertglasper , who I sat by at my first #Grammy nom, for urban album of the year on #maliis along with @aloeblacc !, They told all of us to go back to the drawing board & what you guys have reemerged as is so much more massive and special . I only pray to be a part. Thank you Lord for knowing I would’ve been upset if it would’ve been quiet this voting season. Yet, through servitude and humility , we are Here .

May the Stars Not forget the ground where their humble houses were left the moment they took to the sky .
