Grammy® Award and NAACP Image® Award Winners David and Tamela Mann join forces with Tyler Perry as he bids farewell to the character (Madea) that started him out and made him famous.
BET+, the streaming service from ViacomCBS' BET and Tyler Perry Studios, will stream Madea's Farewell Playstarting Aug. 27. The play is the 21st and final one in the Madea series, which helped launch Perry toward becoming the mastermind business mogul he is today.
Madea's Farewell Playfeatures Cassi Davis,David Mann,Tamela Mann,Kwaylon Rogers,Alexis Hollins,Anthony Lewis,Jacobi Brown,Ashlee B. Gillum,Walter Fauntleroy,RaVaughn Brown, and Kendrick Mays. It follows Madea as a gun-toting gradma who attempts to "fix" her family's chaotic life during her great-grandson's law school graduation.
